Inspire Yacht Package
40 – 46ft Of Sailing Fun
What Will the Inspire Yacht Package Offer?
Deciding on the Inspire Yacht Package gives you all the fun of the sea at a more cost-effective price.
Yacht Information
All the yachts we use for the Inspire Yacht package are between 40 – 46ft in length.
All consist of a minimum of 4 double cabins or 3 doubles and a bunk room the saloon can be converted into extra sleeping area if required.
Onboard you will have all the standard equipment to make sure you can live and enjoy yourself onboard including deck showers, galley (Kitchen with fridge and cooker) Heads (Toilets with showers).
Models Of Yachts
Types of yachts we use in the Inspire yacht package: Benetteau, Jeanneau, Bavaria, Salona, Hanse, Cyclades, Dufour, Elan to name a few.
All yachts are kept to a high standard and will sail as good if not easier than some of the larger yachts meaning in light winds you will have more chances to sail.
Monohull or Catamaran?
All Inspire Yachts are Monohull yachts (Not multi hull catamarans) So sailing performance is often more enjoyable and fun.
Monohull yachts will sail closer to the wind meaning more sailing time onboard.
Who Enjoys the Inspire Yacht Package?
Our Inspire yachts are most popular with groups of close friends, as the small group experience onboard often means that tight-knit groups get a very social experience!
The Inspire Yacht Package is a great option if you want excellent value for money and don’t mind sharing showers and toilets with your fellow travellers.
Inspire Yachts are also popular with budget conscious, independent travellers on extended travels throughout Europe that are joining others and organising a fantastic week on the water.
Follow the links more information on our Premium and luxury packages.
Food Onboard
The Inspire Yacht Package Is very much a BYO package.
What is BYO?
“Bring Your Own” means you provision the yacht at the beginning of your holiday and top up the provisions in different ports as you visit new destinations throughout your week.
Supermarkets
All boarding ports and marinas have a local supermarket within a short distance. All you have to do is turn up a little earlier to the marina pop your bags in storage and head off to buy provisions and drinks for your week.
Don’t worry there will also be other ports to buy provisions on route.
What About the Skipper?
Don’t forget you will have to feed your skipper also during your time onboard but all skippers are easy going with food preferences and can adapt to vegetarian and vegan throughout the week.
Do we get a host?
Our Inspire Packages do not come with a host / Hostess on-board, but we can arrange one for an extra cost of €1000 or local equivalent.
A Host / Hostesses will prepare breakfast and lunch during your time onboard, if given a float they will even order your food in advance – We suggest a €500 float to begin with for provisioning for up to 8 guests.
All receipts are held and recorded by the host / hostess and any remaining funds are returned to the lead passenger / booker at the end of the charter.
Note: Hosts / Hostesses do not cook evening meals onboard – We find this is often better enjoyed ashore in the evenings, however guests are more than welcome to cook onboard during an evening themselves.
Do I Need a Host?
Utopia Yachting often find that some guests prefer to cook themselves and cater to their own food preferences so we believe offering sailing without a host / hostess can be an advantage to some groups.
How Many Cabins / Beds Onboard?
Inspire packages will normally offer 4 double cabins onboard the yacht with between two and four heads (Toilets / Bathrooms)
Occasionally yachts may have 3 double cabins and a bunk cabin that sleeps two onboard.
Can We Use The Saloon To Sleep in?
The saloon on all yachts can normally be tuned into extra sleeping accommodation.
Where Will The Skipper Sleep?
Your Skipper and Host / Hostess will require somewhere to sleep onboard, please keep this in mind when organising your own guests.
If you prefer them not to be sleeping in the Saloon (Shared Area) then drop your guest numbers so the skipper gets a cabin onboard.
Remember: The Skipper is the one that will be keeping you safe at sea and sailing you to all these amazing places after all.
How Many People In Total Will The Yacht Sleep?
A yacht can sleep up to 10 guests (Including Crew) however if you would prefer not to have anyone sleeping in the saloon (Main living area) then we suggest lowering your number of guests and giving the crew a cabin for themselves.
Facilities Onboard
Onboard you will have all the modern items you would expect on a sailing yacht including:
- Shower & Toilet (Heads),
- Kitchen (Galley), cooker, hobs,
- Comfortable beds,
- Bedding, Cushions,
- Towels,
- Cooking equipment.
Will There Be Air Conditioning?
Not all boats have AC but if you do require this, we may be able to offer this at an extra cost. This must be paid for at the time of booking.
Shoreside Facilities
Ports on an evening will normally have shoreside facilities (Bathrooms) for all guests onboard to use.
Who will Sail Me Around?
The Inspire Yacht Package includes a professional skipper for your holiday as standard. Utopia Yachting skippers are all well experienced and generally enjoyable to be around.
Will I get to sail myself?
Utopia Yachting Skippers are generally very happy to share their sailing knowledge and get you involved if you are looking to learn but they also know when to step back and let you sip cocktails or sunbathe and enjoy the scenery.
Where Will We Be Sailing?
Please Check-Out Our Destination links for further Itinerary Information
Can I change the Itinerary
Our Itineraries are designed in a way to get the most out of your sailing and the skippers do their best to stick to them as best they can. Everything does have a safety factor skippers have to take into account and of course if the weather does not allow for the itinerary to be fully carried out you will be informed, and explanations will be given at the time of the decision. Utopia Yachting Skippers will eb thinking about your safety and comfort onboard before anything else.
What Kind of Sailing Will We Be Doing?
Utopia Yachting offers a more relaxed sailing holiday experience including visiting various islands enjoying relaxed lunch / swimming stops for snorkelling and paddle boarding and then on an evening experiencing the local towns, restaurants and bars ashore.
What If It Is Bad Weather?
Utopia Yachting are definitely NOT looking to be taking our guests out sailing 14 hours a day in rough seas with no swim / lunch breaks. We cannot control the weather however we generally know what weather is due for the day. Itineraries will be adhered too as closely as possible, so you and your guests get too experience the best parts of your destination.
