How It Works & Whats Included?
Skipper
Included for all our yacht packages. They are the one in charge.. But don't worry they are all used to the sailing areas.
They are there to keep you safe and make sure you have fun along the way. They may be in charge at the beginning but by the end will be a friend for life.
Yacht Accommodation
7 Nights accommodation onboard for the duration of your holiday.
Sleeping arrangements vary from double cabins, bunk rooms and if you have more than 8 guests onboard we have a saloon that converts into a comfortable double bed also.
Bed Linen & Towels
We provide each guest with towels and bed linen onboard.
Extras can be ordered at a cost on arrival but we often recommend you bring a beach towel for using after swimming and for lying on the deck. So your shower towels don't get covered in salt.
Showers / Toilets
All yachts have onboard toilets (Heads) and shower facilities.
All our yachts have a minimum of 2+ bathrooms onboard.
Shoreside facilities are often also available in Ports & Marinas
Dinghy
Dinghy for getting ashore is also provided with all yacht packages.
Great for getting ashore in a bay when on anchor or for just having a spin around the bay on. Your skipper will show you how to use it.
Final Yacht Cleaning
At the end of every Yacht charter we do ask guests to do a general clean up of their own cabins.
Just like you would with any hotel room but the deep clean after each week is all included.
GPS & Charts
For those of you that fancy being a little geeky and getting to grips with the nautical lifestyle.
Up to date sailing charts, Electronic GPS, plotters and compasses are provided on each yacht. Ask your skipper for some guidance they will be happy to tell you more about how to use them.
Galley (Kitchen)
Each yacht comes with its very own kitchen (Galley) with all the utensils to be able to whip up some amazing food.
Hosts are provided with Premium & Luxury packages and they will make full use of the galley to create some amazing breakfast and lunches for you.
Wifi (When Working)
We provide WIFI internet with all yachts on unlimited data plans.
However unlike being on land internet can often be intermittent especially in some of the secluded bays.
But that's part of the fun of sailing and enjoying life at sea.
Food and Drinks
Host / Hostess
Hosts are included in our Premium and Luxury Yacht packages
They will cook 6 Breakfasts + 6 lunches for you while onboard.
With our Food Package add-on. Priced at €495 food will be delivered to your yacht on / before your arrival to save any supermarket shopping.
Hosts can be added for €1050 to Inspire packages
Drinks
Still mineral water is provided while onboard with all luxury and premium packages while onboard.
Any alcohol or extra soft drinks can be purchased in various local supermarkets along the way.
Or why not take advantage of our Alcohol and Drinks Package extra priced at €195 Per Package. Includes various soft drinks, various selected local wines , spirits and bubbly.
Food
Premium & Luxury Packages Your Host onboard will already be working on your food shopping for your holiday while you settle in with a glass of bubbly.
Booked an Inspire Package? Why not consider taking a food package: €495 for the week. + €1050 host cost.
If not we suggest turning up a couple of hours early to purchase food.
Additional Costs
Flights
We can safely sail you on the sea's and oceans and from port to port.
But when it comes to flying your better off using the professionals.
Airport Transfers
We try our best to operate out of marinas close to main transport hubs in different countries.
This makes transfers for all our guest's easy and quick.
Alcohol / Dining Out
Alcohol and Evening meals are not included on any Utopia Yacht Packages.
We do highly recommend the local restaurants ashore.
Refundable Yacht Deposits
Each Yacht requires a refundable yacht deposit to be paid at the marina before boarding.
This is fully refundable unless any damage is caused onboard most major credit and debit cards can be used for this.
Note in the unfortunate event the skipper makes any damage you will not be charged for this.
Yacht Fuel, Water and Shore Power
Yep - even on the sea we need to water and electric and fuel.
We fuel up at the end of the week, Please check your package detail.
Water for showers and dish washing will be required to be topped up throughout the week.
And we all like to charge our phones, cameras etc on an evening when in port.
Additional Dinners for Your Skipper and Host
Crew work very hard throughout the week to look after you all and make sure you have an amazing time.
In order for them to survive for the next days sailing they will require some food to keep going.
We suggest €20 per head or take them with you to the restaurant to enjoy some sailing stories.
Mooring / Port Fees
Mooring fees are all dependent on the size of the yacht you are sailing on. Payable each morning after your night in port.
Often required in cash.

Water Taxi's / Tours
Optional extras if you want to get ashore or to further afield ports in some ports.
Around €25 P/Person return
Crew Tips / Gratuities
Tips are not included for crew.
We leave this up to you to show how much you enjoyed the crew and your holiday.
(Industry standard is 10-20%)
What To Bring
Floatie's
We love them!
There great on the sea but don't bring one each or you will be climbing over them all week!
Snorkels & Masks
For health and safety we suggest bringing your own while onboard and can be purchased locally if you forget.
Suncream
It does get hot in all of our locations and nothing worse than some sunburn on day one.
Local supermarkets on route also.
Sunglasses
We will be outdoors so very useful. (Polarised work better at sea)
Swimming Costume
You may need a few remember you will be able to swim alot.
Rock Shoes
If your swimming ashore these come in handy for exploring.
